Well due to "events" on campus, Josh only had to work half a day today.
Paisley saw her first snow today! She thought it was neat.... then looked up and got it on her face.... which shocked her. But then she was happy again.
Paisley had a play date today..... well, actually I did. Amanda came over to work on some cards, and brought Joel. Both of them had a really long nap (over 2 hours), but played together before and after the nap. Aren't they adorable! :) I love Joel's sweater! They were poking and grabbing at each other, and just completely fascinated with each other.
She's really outgrowing her tub. She won't sit back in it anymore..... likes to sit up. And she drenches the bathroom. I think we'll be switching her to the big tub in the next couple weeks, since she's sitting up so well now.
Under it all: Long sleeve onesie and a pair of tights. Oh and I had to put shoes on under the feet, in order to keep the feet on!
She's very eager to feed herself. Always grabs the spoon right before it goes in the mouth, and stuffs it in herself.... not as neatly as mom or dad would, but she gets it in.
Paisley loves story time. No matter how cranky she is, as soon as you sit with her and a book she's happy (and then starts to eat the book), but she enjoys story time each evening, which is usually Daddy time.
That's right, only 57 days, time to get organized. This year we are making all of our gifts (at least at this point). So I've been busy getting them started, hopefully I can get them all done.
Less than two weeks, we are headed to Vancouver to introduce Paisley to a lot of my family members. She has many aunts, uncles and cousins anxious to meet her. There will be many firsts for Paisley, including her first airplane ride.
Pictures of food to come, still haven't connected the card to the computer. But in the mean time we have some oldies we can post.
So we've been slacking in the blogging department.
This week was a big week for Paisley. On Monday she got her first tooth and rolled over. On Tuesday she sat on her own for almost 5 minutes, and today she had her first food. It was finally time. She had started eating every 1-2 hours, and waking a lot at night. So hopefully it helps. Well, I can tell it already has. I'm thinking I might actually get some sleep tonight. Last night I only got 2 hours... and that was broken into 4 short segments.
