Boxes are being packed. Slowly. Getting quite the stack in the basement now.
We finally pulled out our A/C for the summer. It hasn't been too stupidly hot yet, but the house has reached 29 degrees, and it's just a touch more comfortable at 27.
Yesterday we took Paisley to the downtown spray park (the fountains shoot to music). She hated it. We thought we'd get some good pictures... but she would tense up every time the water sprayed... so it was short lived.
I only have Joel for 2 days this week. So Paisley and I will get to have some play time one on one. We have plans to visit the zoo this week though!
Maybe I'll come across something to post later today.. but I don't have any pictures, (well they're still on the camera).

Needing inspiration
I've been giving a lot of thought to Paisley's new room, and how I want to decorate it. I don't want to invest much, it'll be more of a gradual process.
But I'm looking for ideas, colour suggestions, etc.
Please help!
I want to keep this quilt as a part of it, because it's her quilt from Grandma:
She has some nice built in display shelves in her room as well.

So give me some suggestions... and I can brainstorm further!

Watermelon Lemonade
Saw this recipe. I HAVE to try it. Thinking I will for the BBQ this weekend:
Watermelon Lemonade found on Good Life {eats} (photo also from Good Life {eats})
* 15 cups seeded and cubed watermelon
* 2 (12-ounce) cans frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
* Ice
* Garnishes: watermelon wedges
Process watermelon, in batches, in a blender or food processor until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher. Add lemonade concentrate and whisk to combine. Serve chilled and over ice.

New House
Want to know more about our new house?
It's a 2 story home,
in a new development,
with a gorgeous kitchen,
3 bedrooms,
a den,
a gorgeous kitchen,
built in shelving in the bedrooms and dining room,
2.5 bathrooms - beautiful ensuite,
a gorgeous kitchen,
double attached garage,
good size deck,
a gorgeous kitchen,
with all new stainless steel appliances,
a fireplace,
a gorgeous kitchen,
room for development of a 4th bedroom (craft room) and living room in basement
front landscaping included.
Did I mention there's a gorgeous kitchen?
Please pray that all the financing comes through, and we can lift the financing condition without any problems.
And make plans to come visit us in our new home... sometime after August 12th. We're the house at the end of the street.... the one with no other houses around yet.
I just saw the kitchen appliances yesterday, except the washer and dryer, and they've installed the blinds now as well. There's lots of extras included.
Friday is when we'll know for sure...
oh and HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the dads.

Paisley's first pool party
On Saturday the 13th, Paisley went to Raylee's birthday party. It was her first POOL PARTY!
Paisley was the first in the pool.... fully clothed. So we brought out the bathing suit pretty much right away.

Happy Birthday Baby GIrl!

Busy again
Here are some photos from yesterday. Paisley's first ponytail, and she's wearing a dress (as a top) from my childhood.
And I did get some video of her walking, but I've got to shorten it before I can post it. SO maybe tomorrow (but with my parents coming for the weekend, having an extra kid for the evening, having a showing in the morning, and having to finish Paisley's birthday dress, it might not happen for a few days.
