September Project
So at the beginning of the month I gave you a sneak peak, well here is what I made with that fabric. A cute little girls' sundress!
I do have to thank my mom, for the help she gave me, it's been ages since I've sewed from a pattern, as well, she helped with sewing the ribbon on, because I was too scared to ruin it! Thanks mom! I'm actually really pleased with how it turned out in the end. Just tied the bows and attached them this morning.
Coming this afternoon, a sneak peak at October's sewing project.
This week though I will be focusing on paper crafts.

Hockey Season has arrived!
Well Josh is very excited this year. He has Season's Tickets to the Lethbridge Hurricanes. Which means he get to see A LOT of hockey. Here's just one of his photos from the season opener last weekend. Its the blimp that flies around at intermissions.
Family Vacation
Here's a photo of us in Invermere on vacation. Lisa took our picture for us! :) Josh is rarely in photos.... he likes to hide behind the camera.
Fairmont
While we were in Fairmont, we got a chance to get together with my mom's cousin Lisa. We met her in Invermere for lunch, and had a good visit. Unfortunately Paisley was quite cranky during that time, be we had a good visit anyway.
Cousin Lisa is a missionary in Niger, Africa. So we don't get to see her very often. Check out her website, although she is in Canada for a year, there is lots of great info on this site.Impact Niger On there you can read her stories she submits to the Invermere paper, as well as Friday Fotos - which are always interesting.

Another tractor pic
Another picture of Pais on the tractor with Grandpa. By the way, the house in the background is for sale!
Here's one for Dara
She's starting to "wrestle" with toys in her crib. Here she is with a firm grasp on her doll (from Dara and James).
Chocolate Cake..... in 5 minutes?
Found this while browsing this morning: 5 Minute Chocolate Cake
Here's a photo of it:
I haven't tried it yet, but will be trying it this week, I'll let you know!
Needle Felted Pumpkin
So I was reading my many crafting blogs during Paisley's morning nap today, and came across a neat one that I wanted to share. I've never tried felting (well actually that's only partially true. My sister made me some FAB slippers for Christmas a couple years ago, and I had to wash them to "felt" them.... but this is totally different (I LOVE THOSE SLIPPERS BY THE WAY!).
This is needle felting. Looks neat, never tried it, and maybe one day I will. But thought I'd share with you all, as I know some of you are crafters, and this looks pretty easy.
If you click on the picture, it will take you to a tutorial on how to do this. Neat project for fall, but can be used to make almost anything.

We're home
So what'd we do while we were away?
Well here's one of the things I was up to:
These are some wet wipes/cloths that I sewed up to sell. :) ONly in 3 prints right now, but I have a bunch of other flannels now (jet planes, space theme, flamingos). Wet Wipes

Carrots?
We've been giving Paisley carrots this last week. They're cold from the fridge, and she likes to gum on them. Seems to help with her teething. Perfect size for her hand, and no risk of her braking chunks off to swallow.

More sitting
Can you spot Grandpa Yeomans.... keeping her from toppling to the sides? She can sit, but if her head goes off centre, she topples.
Travelling
After Fairmont, Paisley and I travelled to Revelstoke with Grandma and Grandpa Yeomans. We stopped at Roger's Pass for a few minutes.

Vacation
We are in Fairmont for the whole week! But should have some pictures to post when we are back. I've been sewing during naps, and Josh has been golfing with his family.
Currently, it's Josh's parents, Grandma Schroeder, and Josh's brother out here with us. On Tuesday Josh's brother and grandma head back, and his other grandparents, and his Great Uncle Jimmy are coming out (and they will head home Friday in time for the Stamps game). Lots of family, lots of pool, lots of hotspringing and for me, lots of sewing.
Pictures to come on the weekend, most likely. I think uploading photos with this weak internet connection would take a long time, so we'll wait til we're back.
