I went and put Joel down for a nap... came back, and caught Paisley in the act:

Lacking

I need to take more pictures.



I only have 4 more days with Joel.... his mom has decided to stay home with him. So Friday is my last day looking after him.

I do look forward to going swimming, to the library, and keeping up with my errands again. Life has just been too busy, and I hope it slows down just a touch next week, when I have only 1 child again.

In 1.5 months I have my first craft show, so I need to build up my inventroy for that. This coming weekend is a big Alberta-wide sale, and I'm hoping to get a few more things listed for that. I'll post more info on the sale closer to the weekend. More than 50 online shops are involved, and it is a great chance to do some Christmas shopping! :) Make it a handmade holiday!

Computer Time

Almost impossible to keep Paisley away from our computers. If it's open, she's gotta be there. Now that she can climb to pretty well every surface on the main floor, there's no stopping her.



Oh, and she knows a lot of shortcut commands that I haven't figured out yet.....

My camera finally reunited with my memory card yesterday. I think Paisley missed the camera.

Toes!

We have matching toes. She was so fascinated with mine, I did a single coat on hers during lunch! She was pleased.





I think I'm going to have a girly girl. She's already learned to twirl, and we even backed cookies together. She's always wanting to be in the kitchen with mommy.

Facing Foward

We finally turned Paisley's carseat to face forward. We had hoped to go longer with her being rear-facing (since it's safer to do so), but her legs were so long and she would kick the seat back. And kicking would loosen her seat... making it less safe. She is over the age of 1, and she is over the 20 lb weight in which you can safely face them forward (she's still about 21 lbs... maybe just a bit less), but in an accident, it's safer for her to be rearfacing. Did I just confuse you all? Anyway.... I miss the rear-facing. We had a mirror in which I could see her in the rear-view mirror... and now she's too low to see, so I have to either turn my head or really adjust my mirror, both not very safe options.

I think she likes facing forward though.... but now she's always seeing what's up front and wanting it.... coffee, paper receipts.... anything really.

Potty Time

I managed to snap a few pictures of Paisley today... I had to go grab something from her room, and my camera was in there:











Paisley's bathroom is officially the first room decorated. I just need to pick up some green and blue towels for it. :) I think it's fun! Even got her some polka dot grippers for the bottom of her tub.

She likes potty time.. :) Can you tell? It's good reading time, and toilet paper is so much fun to pull off the roll.

As soon as the tools are out... Paisley is right in there helping. She'll grab the same screws as daddy, and try to fit it in the same type hole as daddy. Surprisingly she doesn't get in the way, and never runs away with what is needed.

So I finally found the fabric for Paisley's new room!

I've laid it out here like I will piece it in the quilt.

Once the quilt is done, I'll see what else I would like to do in the fabrics to finish the look of the room. I do want to do some throw pillows and such.
