Paisley's Makeshift Sandbox

What was Paisley doing for a good chunk of the patio building?

Playing in a makeshift sandbox (wheelbarrow) with discard chunks of patio stones with Grandma:













There was a lot of sand left over at the end of the day, so Grandma and Grandpa bought her a real (closeable) sand box for the yard.

We built a patio this weekend! We were planning on completing it the couple days before Paisley's birthday party, but it got rained out.

Josh's parent came down to help us get it done, and my dad shovelled a lot of the dirt out of the way. So it went fairly quickly.

It looks fantastic! So thanks to both sets of parents on their help!

It was fun! But we've since had tea parties at least 10 times a day.

Party Season

Since all the kids in the playgroup are born within a couple month span... it's crazy party season again.

Saturday we went to Raylee's birthday party:

Paisley turns 2 TOMORROW! But we're both sick, so we have to postpone her party a few days. But I'll take her for her 2 yr check up, and then on Wednesday, we get to pick up Grandma and Grandpa at the airport! :)

I finally got around to making iPhoto, Mars Edit, Flickr all talk to each other on my partition of Josh's computer... so now blogging is easier, and I should be able to get more posts up.

Paisley loves bedtime... she makes it a game to get her pj's on, but then she tucks in and sleeps well. I saw something that I thought might make it less of a fight to get Pj's on... Matching pj's!!!

Not only is she thrilled that it's a night dress..... but now Monkey has matching pj's. She very willingly let us take pictures of them in their pj's.... Night #2 in her night dress... guess mommy will be sewing up a bunch of night dresses (and probably matching ones for monkey).













She seems so much older in these pictures...
