I don't think Paisley shares my hatred of whip cream. Auntie Patricia gave her a beater when we visited last month.... and the pictures show just how she liked them:

Joel's 2!
We attended Joel's 2nd birthday over Easter weekend. If you noticed in the background of yesterday's post, that's where she was.
Lots of friends were there, and it was a busy and loud house... but everyone had a good time! :)

Where oh where have we been?
We've been to London to visit the Queen.
Well... no... we did go traveling though.
We went down to Vancouver to see my parents new house, go to a wedding, and a memorial :). It was nice that all of us siblings could be there at one time.
First day we were there, we got to have a play date with my cousin's kids. 2 of them are very close in age to Paisley, so they had lots of fun.
The next day we went to my great aunt's memorial. I was so pleased I was able to attend, as Aunt Lil did so much for my grandpa when he was nearing the end. She was a beautiful woman. I didn't get to sit through the whole service, because of Paisley, but it was good to be there, and remember with others that loved her. (Paisley liked that there was a playground there at the church)
The next week was a blur, because pretty much everyone in the house got a stomach bug. Paisley first, then me, then mom (Grandma Y).
But we were better in time for me to go to my friend Jen's wedding. She was beautiful, and I"m so happy for her! It was a beautiful ceremony. Sean you better take good care of her! ;)
That evening we were able to get together with pretty much the entire Kanwischer family. So that was great to see everyone on that side of the family as well. Paisley loved playing with my cousin Dara the whole time :). (Didn't bring my camera :( )
The rest of the trip included going to the wavepool, visiting my grandma (Great Grandma Y), visiting with Auntie Melissa and Uncle Matt, stealing Jen from her new husband for dinner, and hiking Grandma and Grandpa's mountain. Yes, Paisley climbed up all by herself!
There's a quick summary of what we've been up to. I have more posts coming about other things... just been so busy since we've been home!
