Potty Time

I managed to snap a few pictures of Paisley today... I had to go grab something from her room, and my camera was in there:











Paisley's bathroom is officially the first room decorated. I just need to pick up some green and blue towels for it. :) I think it's fun! Even got her some polka dot grippers for the bottom of her tub.

She likes potty time.. :) Can you tell? It's good reading time, and toilet paper is so much fun to pull off the roll.

As soon as the tools are out... Paisley is right in there helping. She'll grab the same screws as daddy, and try to fit it in the same type hole as daddy. Surprisingly she doesn't get in the way, and never runs away with what is needed.

So I finally found the fabric for Paisley's new room!

I've laid it out here like I will piece it in the quilt.

Once the quilt is done, I'll see what else I would like to do in the fabrics to finish the look of the room. I do want to do some throw pillows and such.

New House!

It's all done. We moved into our new house this week, and we're excited to show it off.

Beach life

Spent a day at the beach yesterday (or a couple of hours). Josh was off golfing, so we headed down to do some splashing and tanning with our shades on.

No Saturday Slice

Sorry, there will be no Saturday Slice this week, or maybe even next week. We will see what the week holds.

The house is nearly empty, and walls are patched and touched up (thank you Grandpa Schroeder!). Paisley is being babysat by Grandma and Grandpa the last couple days to allow us to get things done. When we were emptying the crawlspace, we noticed the outside tap was leaking in there, and all of the drywall on one end down there was very mouldy. So Grandpa is also fixing that up for us. I don't know what we'd do with the two of them. Grandma weeded, cleaned cabinets and did some packing. We had hoped to have all the packing done by today, but there is still going to be a lot to do that last few days before we move. I have hired some help for doing a thorough clean of this house on the 13th though. :)

The next couple weeks will be a whirlwind. We did a walk through of our new house yesterday, and I took some sneak peak pictures that I'll post in the next couple days.

But dates of importance in the next couple weeks are:

August 12th - possession of the new house
August 13th - our official moving day
August 21st - big re-launch of Barefoot Creations.

So between moving, and getting the launch all ready (there'll be lots of new products and appearance changes), we're very busy.
