We know you're out there!
We know we have readers (we can see there are 20-60 visitors a day), we just don't know who you all are! We would love it if you dropped us a comment! :) See who all is out there. Now in writing this message, I realized, I should check the comments settings, and I'm sorry, it was really restrictive as to who could comment. I've now relaxed the comment restrictions, so any of you can comment now.
We'd love to hear from you all!

Picture Update!
Paisley is all smiles these days, especially for Grandma and Grandpa Schroeder (who are visiting).
Here's Paisley with Mom, Mom's sporting her new nursing cover. It's called a Peek-A-Boob nursing cover. :) It's a brilliant design by a stay at home mom here in Lethbridge!

And here she is ready for bed in one of our favorite sleepers (which is now in the "too small" pile):

"We cannot function like this"
A quote from my father. Josh's father completely agrees! They're talking about the lack of regular posts with pictures of their grand daughter. We're getting on that! Promise. Tonight, or tomorrow morning there WILL be new pictures. :) It's all about her these days!
In other news, next week is the official launch of my cards and invitation website. August 1st! It came up so fast. But I think I'll be ready. Got a little bit of work to do yet, but then it will be ready. :) Will post a link to it on August 1st, since i don't feel that it's ready for visitors just quite yet.
This week has been busy busy. Josh's parents have been here this week to install new patio doors. Well, they weren't able to get the doors delivered til Thursday, so they've done a ridiculous amount of work around here. They installed new doors on the pantry and the front hall closets (both those doors were in need of repair). There's now mirrored sliding closet doors on them. At first we thought the mirrors would be tacky, and planned to frost them, but once they were up, it was fabulous, makes that floor look so much bigger, and there's so much more light, so we're leaving them as is. Plus Paisley likes looking at herself in them ;). They also are closing the crawlspace off from the basement. The plan is to install a cat door in the basement door, and the cats litter boxes and food will be down there. Currently the litter boxes are in the downstairs bathroom, right next to the front door. This means that if there's a fresh you know what, it's the first thing you smell when you come in our house. So this will not be the case anymore. And the food is currently in the dining room, but Teemo loves to tip over his water dishes, so you're constantly stepping in water when you go to the kitchen. So this solves a few problems.
Anyway, Paisley is down for a nap, and I want to take this opportunity to get my laundry out on the clothes line. :)
Pictures to come.... and Josh just informed me , it may not be as later as I thought!

Heading out
Heading out for the weekend. Paisley's taking her first road trip to Calgary (which includes her first excursion to IKEA). She also gets to meet Great Grandma and Grandpa Ritz for the first time.
Still having issues with uploading pictures direct to blogger, so here's only one, from 2 weeks ago! She's changed so much since then. She's so smiley and coos. And makes tonnes of new expressions.

Some startling news!
Paisley rolled onto her tummy all by herself this morning. That was crazy! Anyway, guessing it was a fluke, but wow.
We have pictures on both cameras, just have to get them uploaded. I'm sorry to disappoint the grandparents with yet another post with no pictures of Paisley.

Canada Day Excitement
I should have posted about this quite a few days ago, but never got a chance to sit down to do so.
Canada Day was an interesting day in Lethbridge. The City of Lethbridge declared a state of emergency. We had quite the downpour. Grandma and Grandpa Yeomans (and Uncle Matt) had all ran to the store to get some groceries. While they were gone, there was the craziest of rain. It just started suddenly. Grandpa Yeomans said that when he came out of the grocery store it looked like everyone in the parking lot had flat tires, only once he was out there did he realize it was several inches of water on the ground. Many of the streets in Lethrbidge flooded, quite a few of them up to mid-door of people's cars. Luckily we live on a high street, but many neighbouring streets you now see piles of carpet on the curb. It's crazy what 45 mm of rain in 90 minutes can do. The morning had been quite nice, it just happened around noon, very suddenly.
Here's a link to a news story - we made National News that day!
Pretty well all the Canada Day activities were cancelled, there was also lightning that struck the local baseball stadium lights (luckily the game was cancelled as well).
Josh took a few pictures as well, not sure if they turned out, but I'll get him to link them if they did. It was like standing under a waterfall outside.

A Contest Heads Up
I came across a contest today. The prize is a whole lot of cloth diapers (Bum Genius - a brand I haven't tried, but heard good things about). Anyway, thought I'd share for anyone with little ones, or planning to have a family in the not too distant future. :)
Win a Bum Genius 3.0 Starter Kit from Nature's Child - Wholesome Goods for Mothers and Babies
Good luck if you decide to enter!

-sadly when I tried to enter it wouldn't accept my Canadian postal code, despite the contest being open to canadians. Hope they fix this bug before you enter. Several people have notified them about it, including myself.
